About Me

And here I am, in living colour and intricately crafted by the hands of a drunk god in her notice period. As titles go, I am a Bengaluru-based illustrator, painter, wall artist, and a reluctant graphic designer (now you know where digital lies in my scheme of things). Most of the time it just pen-pencil-paper, and the scanner if things get really intense. I also used to write a lot once, for money and for myself, but as the kalachakra turns - all my writing is restricted to my Instagram pages and  a few secret blogs.

Coming to the seriou part - my body of work is a personal response to and is an interpretation of the various myths, tales, and belief systems that I have encountered in various forms. In other words, it is a humble endeavour to celebrate people and cultures and their evolving relationships with the world around them.

Looking at the ancient through a contemporary lens, that's what this is all about. 
The human body in all its beauty and imperfections, and the human mind with all its potential for creation, destruction, and spinning stories, have always been my biggest muses.
