About Me

Hi there, I am Rohit Bhasi - a Bengaluru based illustrator, painter, wall artist, and graphic designer at times. Once upon a time, I used to write for brands and people, and the only writing I do now is on instagram. There is a book on Bengaluru coming up but that's for another day. 

My body of work is a personal response to, and an interpretation of the various myths, tales, and belief systems that I have come across in their various forms. In other words, an humble endeavour to celebrate people and cultures, and their evolving relationships with the world around them.

Looking at the ancient through a contemporary lens, that's what this is all about. The human body in all its beauty and imperfections, and the human mind with all its potential for creation, destruction, and spinning stories, have always been my biggest muses. Some of my work is here.
